Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle

Thanks to MNet and DSTV, I won two tickets to the premiere of Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle, at the CapeGate NuMetro cinemas. My date for the evening was the lovely Moo (pictured below).

My poor attempt at dressing up like a spy was me donning black...
We were treated to complimentary pies, free drinks and popcorn (free food for the win!).

This was my first IMAX experience, and I absolutely enjoyed every moment!

In this spy movie, Eggsy (played by the delicious Taron Egerton) sees himself coming up against an old rival, and an all new powerful rival, both of whom threaten the existence of the Kingsman, and more importantly, the human race. With the help of old friend favourites, and some new, equally lovely friends (Halle Berry and Channing Tatum to name a few), he takes this new challenge head on! We also discover what happened to Harry (Colin Firth) after the first film. And we see Eggsy question his lifestyle, wondering whether he can ever live a normal life. Julianne Moore plays Poppy, the beautiful, intelligent, deadly psycopathic, villainous drug dealer. It was great seeing a talented female actress in the lead villian role. She was fabulously evil. I did think there was some overkill, but it fits in nicely with this movie. The entire cast is superb, and the eye candy plenty. Fantastic sequel to the first movie and brilliant acting throughout.

I give this movie a 10/10 because I walked out extremely happy and wonderfully entertained!
